DeviledCrowEgg Studio ("we", "us", "our") operates Void Requiem (the "Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

• Player Name: A display name you choose during gameplay
• Player ID: A unique identifier generated for your account
• Transfer Code: Used for account recovery

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Game Progress: Stage completion, units owned, gear, settings, and other gameplay data (stored locally on your device)
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, screen resolution (used for performance optimization)
• Usage Data: Session duration, features accessed, crash/error logs

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Real name, physical address, or phone number
• Payment information (handled entirely by Google Play / Apple App Store)
• Location data (GPS/precise location)
• Contacts, camera, microphone, or other sensor data
• Advertising identifiers (we do not serve ads)

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Game
• Save and restore your game progress
• Display your name on leaderboards and arena rankings
• Detect and prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse
• Diagnose technical issues and optimize performance
• Respond to support requests

3. Data Storage & Security

Your game data is primarily stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage (AES-GCM encryption with HMAC-SHA256 integrity verification). We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• Platform Services: Google Play and Apple App Store process payments and may collect their own data per their privacy policies
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority
• Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of DeviledCrowEgg Studio, our users, or the public

5. Third-Party Services

The Game may integrate with:

• Google Play Games Services: For achievements and leaderboards (governed by Google's Privacy Policy)
• Apple Game Center: For achievements and leaderboards (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy)

6. Your Rights

6.1 All Users

• Access: Request a copy of your data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Data Export: Export your save data from the Settings screen

6.2 European Users (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights including: right to object to processing, right to restrict processing, right to data portability, and right to withdraw consent. Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (providing the Game service) and consent (where applicable).

6.3 California Users (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to: know what personal information is collected, request deletion, opt out of sale (we do not sell data), and non-discrimination for exercising rights.

6.4 Children (COPPA)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Game. Local save data persists on your device until you uninstall the Game or clear app data. You may delete your data at any time from the Settings screen.

8. International Data Transfers

If you access the Game from outside the country where our servers are located, your data may be transferred across borders. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the Game and on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
